Our Cheddar Cheese is made using an Old World recipe that has not changed over the years. Cheddar cheese is a traditional milk cheese that is creamier and stronger than Colby cheese. Depending on it’s age, cheddar cheese can have a mild flavor or a more bitter sharp flavor. Mild Cheddar is normally aged at least 30 days, while Sharp Cheddar is usually aged 1 year. The sharper the Cheddar the more crumbly and flavorful it will be.
